Tim Bainey Jr. and the Aaron’s Dream Team Look to Rebound at Iowa

 

Tim Bainey Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team head into the “Race 2 Recovery 225” at Iowa Speedway this weekend looking to do a little recovering of their own.

 

Just 3 weeks ago at Mansfield, what was going to be a top-10, maybe even top-5 run – ended early with a hard crash… knocking them from 9^th to 22^nd in the Championship Standings with just 3 races to go.

 

“That was a tough way to start the Championship Chase,” said Tim Jr. “Our Aaron’s Dream Team has been great all season long. You’re going to have little tough luck once in a while, that’s a part of racing. It hurt us in the points, but we will see if we can’t get things back on track at Iowa.”

 

The #00 Aaron’s Dream Team will be going with their backup car this weekend as the primary car was unable to be repaired from the Mansfield Accident.

 

“It will make it a little more work for us,” said Crew Chief Dan Bainey. “We spent a lot of time getting the other car dialed in, we’ll have to see if we can take everything we’ve learned from that and dial it all into this car during practice. If it all goes right – we should have the Aaron’s Dream Machine be back up near the front by the end of the night.”
