Tim Bainey Jr. and the
Aaron’s Dream Team Looking to Continue Hot Streak at Bristol
Tim Bainey Jr. and #00 Aaron’s Dream Team had a car to beat at South Boston,
but mechanical problems just before the halfway mark would end their night
while running in the 7th position.
“That was another tough one,” said Tim Jr. “We had a really strong car. We
were quick all day in practice and made our way up through the field twice
during the race. We were a few laps away from cracking into the top-5, and
then we broke.”
“That’s 2 in a row that we missed out on great finishes, but we’re still
sitting 10th in the points. I’m hoping we can get another good
run to keep our Aaron’s Dream Team inside the Top-10 and maybe even pick up
a position or two.”
The team will be making their first trip to the famed Bristol Motor Speedway
with the USAR Hooter’s ProCup Series and Crew Chief Dan Bainey is expecting
another great run from his #00 Aaron’s Dream Team.
“We’ve been on quite a roll this season and it’s been fun,” said Bainey.
“It’s going to be one of the toughest fields ever in the USAR Series – but
Timmy’s always good at these fast high-banked tracks, and I think we’re
going to be a contender again this weekend.”
The Aaron’s Dream Team needs just one more strong run to cap off a great
season, as they shoot for a Top-10 finish in the Championship Standings.
They currently hold the 10th position, but just 8 points would
move them all the way up to 8th.
You can watch the Miller Lite 250 from South Boston next Monday August 18th
at 4:00pm on the Versus Network.
