Tim Bainey
Jr. & the #00 Aaron’s Lucky Dog Truck Team Miss Martinsville Race by .019
Seconds
Tim
Bainey Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Lucky Dog NASCAR Truck Series Team came up
.019 seconds short of making the field for the Kroger 200 at Martinsville
Speedway this past weekend.
With rain
throughout the area, the team was only able to get 22 laps of practice in
what was supposed to be a 3 hour session. It proved to be a big factor in
the team’s first trip to the famed ½ mile.
“It’s a
tough way to come home from a race,” said Tim Jr. “The rain really cut our
practice time, and we came here with a new setup. We made 3 total runs, and
got better every time out – but we just came up short on time. To miss it by
less than .2 hundredths of a second, that just made it a tough day.”
Martinsville was the last scheduled event for the #00 Aaron’s Lucky Dog
Truck Series Team. In 6 attempts this season, Tim Jr. and the Aaron’s Team
posted a season high 15th place finish at Dover, and a top
qualifying effort of 21st at New Hampshire Speedway.
Tim Jr.
also led laps at Dover and Currently sits 42nd in the 2009
Drivers Points Standings. The #00 Aaron’s Lucky Dog Truck Team will be
announcing its 2010 plans in the upcoming weeks.
